La Table de Marcel, the newest haven for haute cuisine in the West Indies located within the all-new Le Simon Hotel in downtown Fort-de-France is headed by Martinique-native and Michelin-starred chef Marcel Ravin, who returns to his homeland following a celebrated 16-year tenure at the helm of the famed Blue Bay Restaurant within the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort in Monaco.

La Table de Marcel promises a singular dining experience. The ambiance blends sleek and modern décor with the seaside romantic charm of historic Fort-de-France. The restaurant seats only 24, ensuring intimate culinary explorations and highly attentive service.

The 94-room Le Simon Hotel opened in January 2016, bringing a new level of modern style and sophistication to the downtown Fort-de-France area. Beach Restaurant: Le Petibonum

Everything here is original: the place is unique and the food is simple but innovative.
Ideally situated on the west coast of Martinique, Le Petibonum restaurant is the perfect mix of excellent food, a peaceful ambiance and an original location. This bar & restaurant located on the silver black beach of Le Carbet is one of the top beach restaurants in the Caribbean (ranked best Caribbean beach bar by the Caribbean Journal).

Facing the sea, the little brightly painted rustic bar forms part of the landscape among the legendary volcano Mont Pelée and the green hills of Morne Vert. The beach is isolated but accessible, and beach equipment is available for your total comfort. Nearby on the beach, many activities like flyboard are also available. The restaurant is owned and managed by Guy Ferdinand, known as “Chef hot pants,” who usually cooks with the traditional chef’s whites on top… but keep short shorts on the bottom! “You need good legs to pull it off“he says. Let yourself be tempted by an exceptional culinary experience, the curried pork Colombo or Chef hot pants’ specialty, the unforgettable pan-seared “marlin” with Mango chestnuts.
